Code of Conduct

Welcome to the 4Poker Community, your place to connect with fellow players, discuss upcoming tournaments and share your experiences. We’re happy to have you here and really value your contributions. 

When we refer to the “Community” we mean any place on 4Help, 4poker.eu, the 4Forum, or the 4Poker Client - essentially anywhere you can connect with other players on our Service.

Please read the below guidelines before posting, commenting or engaging in player chat. By interacting with the Community, we will hold you accountable for following the Code of Conduct, which works alongside 4Poker Terms and Conditions. If this Code of Conduct is ever conflicting with any of our Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions will be the deciding document and our Code of Conduct will be updated.

CODE OF CONDUCT

4Poker supports an open and friendly community environment. To maintain this environment, we ask that you treat each other and 4Poker with respect and act with good intentions. We will not support any bullying, harassment or hate speech to any individual or group. All posts on the 4Forum are automatically moderated, and our team will review any flagged posts before approving. We will audit Dealer Chat at our tables, and your interactions with 4Poker Support teams will also be monitored within these guidelines.

We reserve the right to remove any posts or close conversations found to breach our code of conduct, and if an account is consistently in breach of these guidelines, we can ban this account.

Conduct Guidelines;

1. Remember the person: Our Community is a safe place, not one built for attacking or personal vendettas with other players. Everyone has a right to interact free of harassment or bullying. 
2. Follow Topic/post guidelines: check out the post to see if the creator has asked for specific content. 
3. Respect others' privacy. Don’t solicit personal information if players prefer to use an alias. We will delete any public posts containing personal data.
4. Do not post or encourage the posting of sexual or suggestive content involving minors.
5. You don’t have to use your real name to use the 4Poker Community, but don’t impersonate an individual or an entity in a misleading or deceptive manner.
6. Don’t break the site or do anything that interferes with normal use of 4Poker.

CONTENT STANDARDS

These content standards apply to all material which you contribute to the site (posts, chat message, contacts with Support). These standards apply to each part of any post and to its whole.

Posts must:

• Be accurate (where they state facts).
• Be genuinely held (where they state opinions).
• Comply with applicable law in any country from which they are posted.

Posts must not:

• Contain any material which is defamatory of any person.
• Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory.
• Promote sexually explicit material.
• Promote violence.
• Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
• Infringe any copyright, database right or trademark of any other person.
• Be likely to deceive any person.
• Be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence.
• Promote any illegal activity.
• Be threatening, abuse or invade another's privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
• Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person.
• Be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.
• Give the impression that they are official posts from us, if this is not the case.
• Advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (for example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse. 

You assure us that the content of any uploaded, saved or linked contribution/material that is provided, presented or published and made publicly available by you does not contain:

• any advertisements for other companies (especially other competitors of ours), any advertisements giving a negative image/impression of the sites or any comparative advertisements;
• any so called "rakeback offers"; or
• viruses, fraudulent content, trojans or unsolicited spam.

Likewise, you assure us that the content does not violate:

• any personal rights and the rights of third parties;
• any legal and official provisions and/or prohibitions;
• internet manners and code of conduct (netiquette, chatiquette); or
• public morals.

Therefore, your contributions must not contain any content perceived as obscene, insulting, defaming, defamatory, pornographic, not fit for minors, racist, xenophobic, or condemnable in any other way.

You further assure that you will not contact other users of the site in any manner with the aim of luring such users away from the site. If we found you to have done this, we may delete your account at the site.

ENFORCEMENT

We have a variety of ways of enforcing our rules, including, but not limited to,

• asking you politely to stop breaking our rules.
• temporary or permanent suspension of accounts.
• removal of privileges from, or adding restrictions to, accounts.
• removal of content.
• we reserve the right to remove any posts found to breach our Code of Conduct, and if an account is consistently in breach of these guidelines, we can ban this account.
