Mobile BETA Testing
Thanks for taking the opportunity to assist 4Poker in enhancing our offering for our players. We have been testing mobile/browser functionality internally for a while, but the time is right to gather additional feedback from players participating in a live environment.
For those taking part in this you will shortly receive an email with instructions as to how to access the client. Please do keep these instructions private during this testing phase.
$50 will be credited to your account to participate in this testing. The ask:
- Please stick to low stakes tournaments and cash when playing on mobile. Would recommend $5 MTTs and below and nothing higher than 10/20c cash game.
- If you encounter issues/bugs then please post in this thread the details along with screenshots and as much information as possible.
- Please keep an eye on the thread so that you are aware of issues that other testers might have experienced.
- If our tech team confirm that a bug/issue has been resolved then do try to test/replicate in live environment to confirm.
- At the end of the first week please post feedback on experience, suggestions for enhancements and anything else that you feel would be beneficial for us to know. Those testers that we feel have contributed the most to the process will receive a further token of our appreciation for participating.
Below are some known existing bugs and also some limitations on functionality compared to the desktop client. Our tech team will update these as and when they might have been resolved and will do similar with anything else reported from yourselves.
List of high-priority bugs/tasks:
- Upon trying to take a seat on the cash game table and receiving actions at the same time on any other table, the player navigates to the table with actions, and it interrupts the take seat process on cash game table.
- Sometimes, upon sitting out and sitting-in back on the same table show action panel or fold, call, and raise element to the player.
- Elimination popups are missing for the tournament players, and players would have to check the lobby to see the tournament's actual winnings.
- Upon clicking the back button or swipe-left gesture on the web/mobile client, player is logged out but in most cases not taken to login screen. Player would have to re-enter credentials. We are trying to enhance the experience by giving a confirmation dialog before performing the logout operation.
- Watermarks on the game table for both tournament and cash tables to be improved and more important/relevant information to be visible.
- Sometimes, grey screen is observed when navigating from account section to tables available in the navigation bar or when hand history takes longer to load and only resolution is to refresh the web-client and to log-in again.
- Switching to private connection message is visible and only resolution is to refresh the web-client and to log-in again.
Limitations of web/mobile client, following are yet to be implemented.
- AIOF games
- Greyed out folded cards to remain visible for the hero.
- Sounds to be replaced on the web/client to be consistent with game client.
- Gameplay settings
- Chips to BB or vice versa
- Turn on/off sounds
- Dealer/Player chats
- Change % or BB presets etc. are not available as of now.
- Equity %
- No chat box
- No deal making
- No Leaderboard opt-ins, opted in players would still receive points.
- No Tagging/labeling players
4Poker will be regularly monitoring this thread and will use this as main method of communication relating to this testing.

Thanks both. Will consult with the tech team on this. In our Develop environment we certainly did not have the issues mentioned with lag and multi-tabling so my uneducated guess would be this has to be with switch to live/production environment. Will update in due course.

I am using the IOS version.
When I play 2 tables of Cash games, the connection is lost and I am logged out.
(The screen returned to the Top screen after the 4Poker logo screen appeared. Same as when connecting for the first time.)
This problem has been confirmed 4 times within an hour
and occurred both in a wifi environment and on a mobile network connection.
And the browser I was using was safari, but I have confirmed the same problem with google chrome.0 -
Android.
Tried playing 2 tables plo5 and the lag is unplayable.
Had a bug when switching between apps - couldn't see cash table section anymore.
While playing cash games, table settings button shows nothing.

A very annoying bug occurs: when I lose my buy-in at the cash table and try to re-buy, this shows up:
The only way to see the table is to go back through the lobby. The lag shows up even when playing one table; it's not very bad, but still annoying.
I wish I could see the opponent's cards in images rather than looking at text.
Other than that, it's a good experience. I like how the cards look and sound. I could see myself playing on mobile if it weren't for the lag.

I have played poker in my Android phone, using chrome web browser here are some issues I faced ...
1.my account got logged out 2-3 times when I sit out and leave a cash table..also when i select filter on tournament with only sattellite though all tournaments are visible in my lobby .
2.when I select a filter on mtts that is only sattellite though all registering tournaments are showing
3. when I click on setting a black screen come and unable to use setting ..
4.Also if the table is full and I want to wait till one player exit no option showing to be in waiting list .
5. players chat is not available in mobile version .
6.like in laptop versions i am not able to color tag or make notes on my opponnent move .
7.when i click on cashier it is showing unauthorised and no deposit mehtods are available in my lobby.
8.no extra time bank is showing when i play oncash tables..
9.I am not able to show or muck my card myself ..and check the hand history .
10.when i play a sit n go tournament it is showing undefined on ther table and no prizepool is shwoing as in desktop version.

Rest i love the environment and graphics .now i can play from anywhere and anytime in near future with this mobile version .

I played for 2-3 hours yesterday on the IOS version and was able to play without being forced to log out, probably because I played after restarting my iphone.
However, I was checking the tournament lobby when two other players were in an ALL-in match during tournament play. I immediately returned to the table and checked the board, but the next hand was dealt without the river showing.
Similarly, we have confirmed in cash games that the chip transfer animation does not occur.
This may be a specification to ensure the next hand is dealt smoothly, but I am reporting this just in case.0 -
Not a bug, but I would like to report some general feedback as well.
1. I would like the automatic table switching to be ON/OFF switchable.
Auto-switching to a table that requires action is convenient, but I wanted to switch manually because it leads to misoperation and I cannot see my opponent's action and hand.2.I would like to be able to see what cards were held after FOLD without looking at the handhisory. This is a feature implemented in the desktop version.
3.I would like to see the contents displayed on the desktop version at all times, such as the number of players remaining in the tournament, rank display, etc.
It is difficult to check the tournament lobby when playing at multi-tables.4. How to switch multi-table
I think it is necessary to swipe right twice to switch from the first to the third (last) table, but it would be convenient to swipe left once to display the table.
Of course, I know that it is possible to switch to the desired table by tapping on the hand, and this would be very convenient.0 -

Hi All,
As of the deployment yesterday the following bugs/enhancements have been fixed/made.
- Grey Screen issue is fixed.
- Manual rebuy on cash games table shows correct/expected amounts.
- Showing Take your Seat on tournament lobby for player's active tournaments.
- Player's time bank information displayed on the game table
- Navigation bar shows the timers when user is on the lobby.
- Minor improvements to table menu bar to not show gameplay settings and show relevant & correct information as per table type.
Please do continue to try and give feedback.

Hi jeneriku - this might be to do with your settings as it should be visible. Perhaps you have Satellites unchecked?

Buenas, la verdad que quiero agradecerles por el gran servicio de 4Poker, y con respecto a la aplicacion movil es muy buena la idea siempre y cuando se cumpla con las reglas del juego, solamente tuve un problema que les paso a varios jugadores y es que las cartas no aparecen, saludos y ojala puedan acomodar todo para que salga para celulares tambien!

Session: Mobile BETA Testing
Hello, i completed a several hours session on iPhone 12. I played a micro BI tournaments and micro CG.
On Tournament i noticed one disturbing element. Situation after re/balancing table. When i got a new table, top cards preview move to right (you can see it on pinned screenshot). After this, it was very unclear to me.
Session on Cash Game was without any problems or bugs.

Sorry for not answering before, I've been testing the app while playing for vegas promotion when they were few tables (also mixing it with some cash as you can see i was playing cash a couple of days when I never play cash)Several things that I may have encounter was:
- Random disconnection while tabing outside the app to answer some messages
- Grey cards (not shown and not able to do any movement eventho I could have already seen cards, if you go outside of the app)
- Deal in tournaments can almost never be accepted on mobile because there's a pop-up saying "deal is being discussed" in front of the accept button , only pixel perfect to be able to accept it
- There's no way to change chips into bb
Overall the experience was great, until u had to answer a message or switch apps, that's the main issue, idk if reported or not. other things where minor improvements.
Also be able to change UI of table/cards like in computer
I'll be off grind for a couple of weeks need a rest of it :)

Also something I discovered last day on the vegas Freeroll, when someone is allin on bb (lets say blind 1k, and he has 381 chips behind) when you click "call, 1bb" on the screen it's seen like "raise 381 chips"
you pay to playu was bb autoallin, on blinds 1k if i'm not wrong, achrilles called 1bb, and it wa shown 281

Thanks for the additional feedback everyone. We had a deployment today and have the following updates:
jeneriku - the issue that you posted about 3.5 weeks ago is fixed as a result.
julibozzi - the issue that you reported with hands not being shown will be fixed via a hot fix tomorrow.cheekybastard - we will try and reproduce the issue you noted re checking transactions and address.
Adrian - just so I understand your comment. The cards for that table were initially at the left hand end of the view but because you moved tables in the tournament it moved to far right and everything else essentially moved to the left?

Hi All - quick update on some recent and future planned enhancements for web/mobile.
1). Deal making is now available on web client.
2). Sounds improved to match desktop client.
3). New model dialogues/pop ups on web client.
4). The connection/reconnection issue that people might experience should be fixed.
Next update should include some feature enhancements that I know some of you have mentioned, including but not limited to, chips in BB, 4 colour deck, presets. Will confirm when live.
Current estimates are that we will be looking for general release end of this month/early August0 -
Hi Everyone,
As you will likely have seen in a comms sent on Friday, we have now opened up the mobile/web version of 4Poker for general release. I want to pass on my gratitude to those of you who took the time to provide feedback, and just finally summarise a few of the more recent enhancements.
- 4 Colour Deck now available
- Set BB%ages as presets
- Run It Twice cash games available
- Some new and improved animations/sounds
- All in or Fold cash games available
- CASHBACK4YOU now available/accessible via web
- Some navigation bar improvements
- Chips represented in BB as an option
